Planet Railway – Switzerland
Deutsche Bahn and the Swiss Museum of Transport have teamed up to create a display exploring the grand sweep of Switzerland's rail history from its beginnings in the 1840s up to the present day.
"von ZERO an" (from ZERO on)
We are delighted to be able to present the Deutsche Bahn Stiftung's major art collection, which includes works of art from the ZERO art movement, in Nuremberg.
One Station – The Poetry of Railway Stations
Photographer Christian Höhn travelled five continents to capture images of railway stations around the world for the DB Museum.
BSW art exhibition
The best pieces from the Bahn-Sozialwerk (BSW) foundation were exhibited at the DB Museum from 15 March-4 May 2014.
Steam power in prints
From 19 August 2013-2 February 2014, the DB Museum displayed prints of railway-themed images from the 19th century.
Twilight of the gods – Ludwig II
The touring exhibition about Bavaria's famous king, Ludwig II, drew the crowds when it came to the DB Museum in Nuremberg from 15 May-21 July 2013. Some of our exhibits were added to the original exhibition.
Deacceleration in Berlin, Cologne, Stuttgart and Frankfurt
Travelling the length and breadth of the country, this touring exhibition from the DB Museum was often located in the middle of railway stations' hustle and bustle, creating an island of peace and reflection for young and old.
Dialogue in steel
From 11 May-22 July 2012, the DB Museum hosted this exhibition, which juxtaposed the steel sculptures of artist Herbert Mehler with items of the same material selected from different eras of rail history by Florian Borkenhagen.
