DB Museum Nuremberg

As a contribution to the effective containment of the Corona virus, the Nuremberg Transport Museum with the DB Museum and the Museum of Communication and the museums in Koblenz and Halle (Saale) will be closed until further notice.
We kindly ask for your understanding.
The DB Museum exhibitions in Nuremberg on the 2nd floor (Kinder-Bahnland KIBALA and Auf Zeitreise mit Opa Adler)
must remain closed until further notice.

The museum is open on the following days: Easter Monday, Ascension Day, Whit Monday, Feast of Corpus Christi, 3 October, 1 November and 26 December.
The museum is closed on the following days: 1 January, 6 January, Good Friday, 1 May, 24, 25 and 31 December.
The library is open Tuesday-Friday from (upon agreement).
Please notice:
- During the winter months (November – March) our outdoor area closes at 4 pm.
- The narrow-gauge train on the outdoor area is out of order.
Please notice that you can't bring strollers in the KIBALA. There are dedicated parking spots on the 2nd floor.

Visitors can pay by debit and credit cards (Visa, Mastercard).
Entry to the library and documentation section is free of charge.
Museum tickets entitle holders to visit special exhibitions.

Yearly tickets are non-transferable.
There are four parking spaces for disabled drivers. There is step-free access via the museum's internal courtyard. Wheelchair users can access all sections of the museum via ramps and lifts. Mobility-impaired visitors have two wheelchairs at their disposal.
Visitors may take photos and make videos (for private usage; no flash). Use of tripods is permitted provided this does not impede other visitors. Images and footage for commercial use is permitted at a fee and following prior clearance.
Dogs (excluding guide dogs) are not permitted in the museum.
